We live in a world in which conveniences are increasing. Technological advancements work towards saving our valuable time and making our lives easier. But in spite of this, the peace and tranquility of the society seems to be decreasing. When our desires are overtaking us the scale of morality and culture needs to be recalibrated. A lot of the vices affecting society get to the most vulnerable class of the society, the teenagers, easily. Yet it is these same youngsters who will tomorrow become the leaders of our community and society in general.
In an age where academic ranks, abundance of certificates and pay scales in MNCs are considered as symbols of achievement and excellence, we need to pause for a minute and reflect about what is in store for us in our future. A future which may seem distant to us now but could overtake us any moment. We will be able to lead a meaningful life here and be successful hereafter only if we are able to absorb beneficial knowledge based on the authentic sources of Islam.
It is with this goal of molding young minds and aligning them in the right direction at an early stage, that KKIC runs its 4 Madrasas in various parts of Kuwait. The center also has successfully implemented the CRE (Continuing Religious Education) since Jan 2011, a scheme for imparting moral education especially to teenagers every Friday morning for 2 hours.
